In August this year we had the pleasure of running a public course at Bicester Green. It was organised by our friend Claire Morris and as a result was really well attended by a great group of participants. We spent three days in the workshop building the turbine and battery charging electrical system then the fourth day in Abingdon erecting the turbine. There was quite an audience and fortunately the wind took its cue and blew, the result was a spinning turbine – our most balanced ever ! Well done the Bicester Beaver Team! The turbine will be used by Claire and various environmental groups to demonstrate and promote DIY wind turbines and provide power for events.
