Rita was built with a group of 14 year old students every wednesday afternoon for 10 weeks. For a host of reasons an installation at the school was not viable so we have since used her as our medium-sized festival/events machine. She has gone up at roughly 4 events a year on average and helped keep the lights and mobiles charged!

She is built to a since superseded design. The two main diferences being her 10 coil stator (5-phase output!) and additional wooden wedges at the roots of the blades (to increase blade thickness). Hugh dropped both of these design elements in the 2010 release of his book.
