March 2012
This month we finished the EWB 2 module at Coventry - leaving behind a well build 1.2m turbine for which an electrical system and tower will be built next year. We also carried out a couple more Bergey install jobs in Wales with SIAC. Finally we went into Gayton Junior school in Derby and delivered a 1 day "scrap heap challenge" experience with small groups of 7-11 year olds.
February 2012
We constructed an experimental stator to work with a different shape and strength of magnet. It's currently undergoing testing over in France, get in touch to ask us for details.
January 2012
This month we began teaching the EWB 2 module at Coventry University. This is going to culminate in the construction of a small wind turbine for testing at the uni.
December 2011
Tested a new tower design we have been working on and continued fabricating alternators for order. Had a good Christmas break!
