In June we ran a course with the Nottingham Branch of EWB. The course consisted in building a 3.0m, 24V turbine over four days. It was constructed in the mechanical engineering labs by a group of 15 students. As one of the members of V3 was involved in the setup of Nottingham EWB it was a bit of a homecoming course which we were glad could finally take place. It is hoped that the turbine can be installed at an off-grid project in Lincolnshire as part of a further course. Watch this space!
