Renewable Power

We are able to provide renewable power with our off grid systems that can be powered by:

  • Wind Turbines

  • Solar PV

  • Pedal Generators

 

Wind Turbines

We have a range of turbines of different sizes and power-outputs which we can bring along to your event. Erecting the turbines is an excellent team-building exercise which takes around 1 hour with a team of 12 people learning how to rig up the tower and electrical system before hoisting it up with a good tug on the rope!

Once up the turbines can help provide power for your event. Obviously if there's no wind they don't produce anything so we have a large bank of batteries which the turbines charge up. These batteries can be relied on to deliver 4kWh of electricity between charges.

Solar

We also own an array of solar PV panels which turn the power of the sun directly into electricity. By combining them with our wind turbines we can offer hybrid systems which can keep the batteries topped up whatever the weather!

Pedal Power

We have a number of human powered generators which we can either bring assembled or constructed as part of a workshop with people of any age. The generators can then deliver around 50W each (so long as someone's on them!) and can be connected together to all power a bigger device. Audio Visual Systems 

We can provide efficient audio systems, lighting rigs and sound engineers. These can either be powered by our off-grid electrical systems or by mains electricity. 

  • 4kW, 2kW, 1kW, 500W, 200W PA systems
  • Live Equipment (mixing desk, microphones, stands etc)
  • DJ Equipment
  • LED Parkan lights, projectors & screens 

 

Other Renewably Powered Systems

Sustainable Technology Workshops & Talks

We also offer various workshops and talks that we can run at your event to increase awareness about sustainable technologies. These are very popular, giving people at the event a chance to participate and learn something in a hands-on way. Workshops that we offer include:

  • Build your own: rocket stove; wind up torch; usb powered desk lamp.

  • Introduction to solar energy and off grid systems.

  • Introduction to wind turbines and blade carving practical.
